Calendula (Calendula officinalis) calms redness, swelling, and irritation from eczema, dermatitis, or rashes, speeds wound healing, and fights off minor bacterial activity on the surface of the skin.

Rosehips (Rosa canina) acts as a lightweight emollient packed with essential fatty acids (omega-3 and omega-6) that lock in moisture and fight signs of aging. Rich in vitamins A and C, Rosehips helps stimulate collagen production, reduces fine lines and improves scars and post-surgical marks.

Comfrey (Symphytum officinale) encourages new skin cell regeneration, soothes and hydrates the skin and reduces bruising and swelling.

I work to protect plant populations by thoughtfully choosing trusted biodynamic, organic, and wildcrafted sources, maintaining sensitivity to the status of at risk plants and regions. I prefer to source herbs from smaller farmers who are using regenerative agriculture practices that enhance and improve soil health, optimize resource management, alleviate climate change, and improve water quality.
