Oat straw is highly nutritive, containing numerous minerals such as iron, calcium, magnesium, vitamins, along with a variety of other constituents which deeply nourish the entire body. This gentle restorative herb is for those that are cold, depleted, or tired. Oat straw has a long history of medicinal use in Europe. In folk medicine, oats are used by herbalists to treat nervous exhaustion, insomnia, and nerve issues.

All my products are ethically and sustainably produced and sourced. Many of the herbs I grow myself in my home garden in Virginia. I use recyclable & reusable shipping boxes and kraft wadding, biodegradable packing, dye-free recyclable crinkle paper and re-use shipping materials whenever possible. I work to protect plant populations by thoughtfully choosing trusted biodynamic, organic, and wildcrafted sources, maintaining sensitivity to the status of at risk plants and regions. I prefer to source herbs from smaller farmers who are using regenerative agriculture practices that enhance and improve soil health, optimize resource management, alleviate climate change, and improve water quality.
